In BioShock 2, players assume control of the first Big Daddy, and can use plasmids while still donning its iconic drill. The player\'s quest has him confronting other Big Daddies and a familiar moral dilemma: to harvest the Little Sisters or to adopt them? [Game Informer] Multiplayer in BioShock 2 provides a rich prequel experience that expands the origins of the BioShock fiction. Set during the fall of Rapture, players assume the role of a Plasmid test subject for Sinclair Solutions, a premier provider of Plasmids and Tonics in the underwater city of Rapture that was first explored in the original BioShock. Players need to use all the elements of the BioShock toolset to survive as the full depth of the BioShock experience is refined and transformed into a unique multiplayer experience that can only be found in Rapture. Evolution of the genetically enhanced shooter - Earn experience points during gameplay to earn access to new Weapons, Plasmids and Tonics that can be used to create hundreds of different combinations, allowing players to develop a unique character that caters to their playing style. Extend the Rapture fiction - Players step into the shoes of Rapture citizens and learn more about the fall of Rapture as they progress through the experience. See Rapture before the fall - Experience Rapture before it was reclaimed by the ocean and engage in combat over iconic environments in locations such as Kashmir Restaurant and Mercury Suites, all of which have been reworked from the ground up to deliver a fast-paced multiplayer experience.

Bioshock 2 - the fu n continues

This is a great game, continuing the phone that Bioshock gave everyone.    There is not a lot new, aside from a different hacking game and some new weapons and abilities.  The core game is still the same.

The fact that you start as a Big Daddy gives this game a different feel, but the weapons and plasmids work the same.  There are more plasmids and tonics, and the customization has been made easier; there is only one track for tonics and one for plasmids.

Terrific game, if you played the firsdt game this is a must!

The score is based on the quality of the story(if it's a story based game); or the quality of the simulation for sports and music titles. For example, GTA 4, was the story compelling? was it a main feature of the game? Another example would be Tiger Woods, how was the golfing experience? Was it satisfying? Graphic The overall experience of playing the game. This would include how fun was it to play, was it easy to work with? Was the game developed well in all aspects? The overall experience of playing the game. This would include how fun was it to play, was it easy to work with? Was the game developed well in all aspects? Control  How well do the controls work? Are the buttons mapped in a way that makes the gamess easy and comfortable to play? Menu map  This includes the music, the voice action, and the cut scenes (if there are any). Sound  Does this work in a logical way? Does it take you out of the game play experience because you have to leave the main game screen? How are the loading times? If it's a sports game or music game how easy are the menus to navigate? Is it intuitive to get around menus?
Overall  Is the game worth another play thru? Does the game give you a reason to play again or is one time enough? Replay Is the multi-player strong? Are there multiple options? Is there co-op? If the game has only single player then rate the overall experience. Overall was it a great game(4-5) good(3) mediocre(2) or poor(0-1). The online scoring is based on multiplayer, co-op, and any downloadable content.  If a game does not have any multiplayer or co-op, but it does have downloadable content, you can count that as part of the online score.  GGR feels that if a game does not provide any online capability then it can not receive a perfect score.
