Spinter Cell Conviction Delayed til April 13th

Splinter Cell Conviction, the highly anticipated 360/PC game has once again been delayed. This is the 4^th time the ship has changed since it’s original announcement in 2006.

The game was to ship February 23^rd, but now it is confirmed from UbiSoft that Splinter Cell Conviction will ship on April 13^th 2010. The delay is expected because UbiSoft Montreal (maker of previous Splinter Cell Games) wants to perfect this title. Not bad news really for fans of the series.

Conviction takes place 2 years after Splinter Cell: Double Agent (the previous title), has Sam Fisher become a fugitive from the FBI, NSA, and other agencies. After his daughter’s death Sam plays both sides as he uncovers a conspiracy he never thought possible.

With games like Mass Effect 2 (out now) and Bioshock 2 (out in 4 days) 360 gamers should be able to stay busy until April 13^th.
